Revisiting The Loire Valley - France

The wines of the Loire Valley are delicious and vary in so many ways.  We sampled several Sauvignon Blanc, several Chenin Blanc and a Cabernet Franc. We also watched the Wine Masters episode on The Loire Valley.

The food was fantastic.  Dianne made a delicious smoked salmon appetizer, Jan made a delicious hummus with toasted pita bread and I made an antipasto pasta salad. Of course there was goat cheese.

I love new world Cabernet France but have not tasted an old world Cab Franc that I like.  My other wine buddies loved the Cab Franc.  I have a negative reaction what appears to me as farmyard.
