Sauvignon Blanc: New Zealand, South Africa, France

Sauvignon Blanc: New Zealand, South Africa, France

After 2 weeks of sampling Sauvignon Blanc I have a new appreciation for this great food friendly wine. To be honest, I tend to think of Sauvignon Blanc as more of a "porch pounder", that is except for Sancerre. I would like to taste a few more Chilean and South African options. The ones we tasted were average.  My favorites still are Sauvignon Blanc from Loire Valley, France. We tasted wines from the Touraine region and they were well balanced and very affordable.
